What Are your Dreams?
I have asked this question hundreds of times to Brides and Grooms, their parents, or any other interested party that has sat down across from me to plan their wedding or special event.
“What do you want it to look like?”
“What feeling would you like to convey?”
“If you could have anything you wanted, and money was no object what would you have, and what flowers would you use?”
…”What are your dreams?”
It is always so beautiful to walk through the garden that this gate of a question opens up..I see the hope for the Hydrangea, the reaching for the Rose. the search for something Unique, or different or special. I see the willingness to step into the dreamer’s world and the smiles and laughs and conversations that go along with it.
It has been a blessing…
I have now, for the first time, turned that question around to myself.
“What do you want your life to look like?”
“What feelings do you want to convey to the world?”
“If you could do anything you wanted, and money was no object, what would you do?”
“What are your dreams, Sean?”
